I was told to gain significant Weight Gains i need to quit all Cardio and hit the Weights hard, while taking lots of Suplements (Protein, Creatine, NO2, ect.)I have been on both side of this war. I have been on the side in which I do Cardio before a workout on a tredmill and go hit up the weights afterwards. I was told that, that isnt good for your muscles if you want to get bigger on size. So I quit performing this routine and found out that im starting to get a gut and seeing the tonning of my muscles fading away.... I need the truth and what is the best way to get both???? Comments??:surprised:

Hi knuhkles, there is just always going to be controversy and opinion in the fitness area, as in other areas, that can be confusing as it seems there is always a new study floating around somewhere that is ready to contradict another. I have listened to the knowledgable moderator's here and personally, I now always do my cardio now after my weight training or later in the day and on opposite days of my weight training days, also. I was doing cardio before and found my stamina wasn't as good when I hit the weights. My weight loss and inches definately took a better turn when I did this also. I drink a protein drink, 1/2 immediately after my weight workout and sip the rest. I am very happy with the results of these combinations, I am losing fat and I see definition and muscle where there was none apparent before! Check out the fitBuddy search below and you will find many good posts on this subject and others.
Good luck to you!
