I am doing the nutritional plan, and I can't seem to get enough protein and carbs, I get my daily allowed calories and fat. Go figure. I was wondering if anybody nows of a good supplement for both. Something not expensive, and something that tastes half way decent.

Myabe it has you calculated too high?

Eggs are cheap, tuna is cheap.

Per serving most protein powders aren't that expensive. taste is going to be personal, I like some kinds that other peolpe can't stand.

Personally, I like the Chocolate Designer Whey Protein shake. It delivers 17.5g protein, <1g carb and 1.5g fat per scoop.. Trader Joes sells it for $7.50 and it will do 14 scoops..

I've decided my carb requirement is just too high.. also, if you eat a lot of fish you'll always go over on your fat which I've come to understand is okay. (speaking of Trader Joes, their frozen Tilapia fillets are sooo easy.. run under hot water, sprinkle with dill and broil for a couple minutes.. drop some fresh broccoli in a steamer at the same time, great meal in minutes.)

For a supplement I go with Beverly Int'l's chocolate Muscle Builder.. it's darn good to me. Not really cheap though, but I can only eat so many eggs and cans of tuna a day!!
