I need to lose 20 pounds...I think I'm doing everything right....4-5 days of cardio a week/4 days of weights and a pretty decent diet....I have been on a serious weight training program for a month now and my legs are definately getting bulkier...hard and muscular but I want to minimize the bulk....any suggestions??
Thanks in advance :)

Welcome to FreeTrainers!! I noticed this is your first post. Anytime you need anything, just ask.

I'll start off answering your question by saying 'bulking is a good thing'!! Stated simply: The more muscle you have, the higher your metabolic rate, the more calories you burn, the smaller your fat cells become, the happier you are.
It sounds as if you're a bit uncomfortable with the bulk. Sometimes you just have to live with it; its genetic. Some gain muscle faster than others. Other times its your training methods. What kind of training program are you currently doing? Maybe if you post your sets/reps for some of your excercises, we can see if there's an issue with that. In the meantime, don't give up! Good luck!

I guess the thought of lifting heavy scares me....
I usually lift for about a month and I start bulking and then I get scared and quit....
The only issue I have is with my legs (I guess my butt could be a little smaller too)
On my leg days (twice a week) I do 3 sets of squats/3 sets of lunges and 3 sets of deadlifts ( all 12 reps w/gradual increase in weight)
By the way...This website is awesome....I've learned so much... :)

Yeah welcome to the site. What are you eating and taking. TO lose pounds you require patients, so don't worry if you don't see any results in the first few weeks.

If I lift heavy will I eventually thin out or will I be destined to be "solid"??...I guess that's not a bad thing but I just want to be a little smaller ( I want the scale to read less too...)
Thanks for everybody's help :)
