I use the sauna after all my workouts. Not only is it a good way to help with soreness and loosen muscles, but it is also great for your respiratory system.

A sauna after work out is great for faster recovery ONLY if you haven't hurt yourself while training.
If any inflammation, what you need is ice and not heat.

Good one Philia! Right on! I learned that the hard way in the past. Another note: SHOWER AFTER USING THE SAUNA!! This is a breading ground for bacteria that can survive in temps over 110degrees. Most saunas are made of wood, making the area that you sit on permeable to other's sweat and other bodily moisture. You probably won't catch anything serious but to be safe, scrub!
