Prior to the start of exercising, I have been stretching, then 5 min on the treadmill to get the blood flowing and then my workout per my FT Workout Schedule and then 20 min of cardio, on the treadmill. Due to my work schedule, some days it may be impossible to get the full cardio in at the same time. Do I have to do the cardio on the same days as my workout, or could I do that on opposite days? By the way, I workout at home. Thanks for your help.

I have the same problem, I wish I could do more cardio but I have no time.
So, I do minutes to get the blood flowin` and getting my home gym ready to do cardio on the days that I don`t go to the gym or after work.

You might want to try doing cardio on the alternate days to see what works. I have the same problem getting my workout in and the cardo. So I do the alternate day. Seems to work.

No, actually it's a good idea not to do cardio and weight training together! (keep all your strength for the dumbbells!! ;o)
Just do cardio the next day.

In your profile, it seems your main concern is building some muscle. In this case especially, it would benefit you much to split up your weights and cardio. Do them on opposite days, you will make better gains.
