hi guys, how's it goin? anyway, i just wanna ask something and i hope you can fill me in. i usually workout for an hour before going to office(so of course, i need to wash out after workout). somebody told me that it's okay to have a cold shower while you are perspiring than resting for a while before doing so. i am just a little worried about its effect on my health in the future. so please confirm it to me guys..thanks a lot.

A cold shower is great for the blood circulation and skin and to get all fresh and ready for work. Nothing bad about that. On the contrary to help your body to recover faster, a warmer shower is needed (only one thing; strong heat is not adviced if you have hurt yourself during training)

thanks philia. how about a lukewarm shower before a cold one? is it fine? is it also advisable to take your shower while you are still perspiring?

Remember, blood flows toward warmth, and away from cold as a rule. So a warm shower, not hot as Nina states may be more beneficial for you after a hard workout.
