Okay, I have been doing my FT program by the book, literally, and I still haven't seen results. I started feeling the results but then it stopped...My first four weeks are up now, but I am still doing my twelve week ab workout. Is there anything I can do to make my other workout more effective (i.e. up reps or up weights?)?

Hi Coley2003. First off, let me congratulate you on making it through the first 4 weeks of your program. By now you should be getting familiar with each of the exercises. You have also probably noticed some changes in the way that you lift, the way each feels, the way that you feel after working out. There is no doubt you have firmed up muscle and have increased your metabolism. The results are usually there BEFORE you actually see them. Don't give up hope and continue your efforts and you will see results. Often the results will be pointed out to you by others before they are apparent to you. It is because of the way we look at and judge ourselves. By all means up the weight to a point that you feel comfortable and maintain good form. I don't know what program you are on but I would complete it, unless you have modified your goals, before becoming discouraged. I have been discouraged as well, but my commitment is to a lifestyle more than to a particular goal. The goal will eventually be met. Good Luck

Hi Coley, you need to be a little patient! Don't worry, you'll get results. Four weeks is not enough to give you a dream body so you better continue and you'll see. What's your diet like? You get all the needed proteins etc?
Don't be afraid of pushing yourself a little harder in the gym, more weight and take more time to do some light cardio and stretching to avoid sore muscles. Good luck!

Unfortunately 4 weeks only gets you results on the infomercials...my impatient friend, patience is a virtue. If you quit on me after four weeks, I'll come and find you!! JOKING, JOKING!! Stick to it coley2003 and we all promise, you will see the results and you will begin to like them. Nothing comes easy, especially staying staying in shape. Good Luck!

Wait a minute...I just read your profile and even if you FEEL better, THAT is the difference so far. Don't get so down on yourself.
