I just recently started doing some cardio... so I'm taking it easy... I have a rebounder and am jogging on the spot... was doing fairly good when I was doing it in the evenings... about 15 to 20 minutes... I've switched to trying it in the mornings now and I just seem to run right out of steam after ten minutes...

I did eat a pear before hand and waited about 20 minutes before starting. Did I eat the wrong thing? I don't have any protien shakes...

Suggestions greatly appreciated...

Tim

some people will tell you that cardio first thin gin the morning without any food in your system is a great way to burn stores fat. It is. However if you simply do not have the energy for that try to eat a little something more substantial like a half a bagel with a tbsp of natural peanut butter or maybe a bowl of a whol grain cereal and then wait a little longer before you run. Good Luck. You should probably look into some sort of protein powder it is fairley inexpensive and will only benefit you. Good luck!

Yeah, I find I get sort of sick to my stomach if I do the am cardio on empty, too hungry when i wake up!
I have found that just some whey protein in water is enough to settle my stomach and get me through the workout.

Don't try taking a fat burner on empty before am cardio if you aren't going to eat anything, you will ralph, but I did find that when I got to the point where I was doing cardio every day, twice a dya, the fatburner stack got me through it. (don't try that at home)!

I walk 25 minutes 4-5x per week pretty soon after waking up in the morning. I have been doing this pretty much on an empty stomach. Some say eat first, some say drink a protein shake, some say it burns fat stores if your stomach is empty, some say it only burns muscle. I am kind of confused. Problem is- If I eat first and have to wait to long I will have to get up even earlier and for me that is the hardest part. Also, it is hard for me to eat as soon as I get up. It really comes down to a time problem. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks
