I was always told there was no such thing as a dumb question.... so, here goes (even though I feel this is a dumb question)....
When you do the seated twists, do you actually do them seated or do you get a better work out by doing them in a seated/squat positon?

There are different ways to do them. First off, understand most folks do them for the wrong reason. They think they are working their "love handles". In essence, you are working your obliques. You cannot spot reduce with any exercise. That being said, you can do them seated. The key here is to keep the lower portion of your body completely immoble, butt firmly planted, and twist fully till your head is looking parallel to what you are sitting on. You may have to work up to this far of a stretch. Standing you do the same, feet planted, lower body still, and twist from the waist only. You can do them standing straight or bent over, whichever you like.
