Last week I posted that I was going to see my doctor about my forearm that wasn't healing. She sent me to a physiotherapist, who determined that I've injured my flexor carpi ulnaris. It's probably from the tumbling and the weird hand positions used to do the strength holds. I have to have at least 4 weeks of physio. I can't compete. I'm not allowed to touch a dumbbell for 6 weeks, and after then I have to start out with light weights. I'm heartbroken. The only good side to this is that I can have thanksgiving dinner next weekend.

Rest, recuperate, come back stronger and wiser. Good luck, and see it as a learning experience, not a defeat!
And enjoy that thanksgiving dinner!

Sorry to hear about your arm. These things happen to the best of us. Look at F1 drivers or even hockey players, The driver sometimes crashes b4 the race starts, and the hockey player gets injured and out for the season during a practice. Get better and like the others said "Come back stronger".
Happy Thanksgiving and enjoy the turkey protien.

Thanks for all your support. It's easier coming talking to people who understand. I'm looking forward to the turkey at our (Canadian) thanksgiving. Actually, I'm looking forward more to the stuffing and mashed potatoes. I've set my sight on the spring competition.

Maybe you pushed your body too hard?
Learn from it, accept and get back even stronger.
Envoy your Thanksgiving (you definitely deserved it! ;o) and keep the courage and smile.
