Well folks between a return of gout to my left foot, not being able to go to a gym, and now getting vertigo so I can barley walk and feel like puking all the time I am off of doing anything for a week or so. Now.....where did I stash those poptarts?

Sometimes really crappy things happen to the best of people. That's a real bummer mutt. Hope everything turns around for you soon. And listen to asimmer when she says: NO POPTARTS!!!!! Stick to your diet buddy - you can do it!

It is caused by a virus I think kind of like a inner ear infection. I already ate all the turkey breast....I hear them calling but can not find them!!!!

So sorry to hear you are having more than your fair share of troubles mutt. I'm tellin' ya it's that @#$% Mars! My aunt gets that a couple times a year. She got an exercise from the doctor that she does that makes it better. She hates doing it though because I guess it actually makes the vertigo/nausea worse for a minute before it gets better.

Sorry Mutt....I can relate....My better half had been out of work for a few months due to Meniere's disease, which is pretty much constant vertigo....I had to help him walk around when he didn't have anything to hold onto (always scared me 'cause he only weighs twice as much as I do/LOL)...
Wounded his pride terribly..and made him feel helpless....Taking a trip anywhere in the car always made it worse..so he developed cabin fever from being at home so much...
But he has finally come through it and so will you :o)
Keep your chin up, OK?

Man that sucks. I know you don't want to hear it, but maybe you should take the advice you gave to tara. Take a break, even from thinking about workouts. I know you feel you have sort of been on a break already, but not a complete one. You've been under a lot of duress lately maybe you need to relax for a few weeks. Just a thought.
