I've noticed that I often get dizzy during my morning workouts, evenings I'm fine. I usually eat two bananas and drink lots of water prior. I'm guessing it's a nutrition problem. I searched old posts and couldn't find anything on this one.

My workouts consist of 15 minutes of cardio then heavy weights.

Please let me know if you have encountered this one.

Thanks

Yep, I drink plenty of water during and always focus on my breathing. That's why I'm assuming it must be a nutritional thing.

I think you're right - sounds like a mild case of hypoglycemia.

I have the same problem sweitz. I've always been prone to get dizzy or shaky and sometimes experience nausea. Some people are able to work out on an empty stomach but not me, and I even have to bring food to the gym sometimes. You mention you were eating bananas...I may be wrong, but from what I've heard, bananas hav a high glycemic index and they "burn up" in your body very quickly.
If you suspect it is your diet, and you are very possibly right on that assumption, then simply try experimenting with some different pre-work out meals, as well as how long you eat them before working out. good luck

If I eat before my morning workout, I never have the dizzy feeling, but when I don't eat, like today, I felt the nausea and a little dizzy. I took a protein drink with me this morning and sipped on it instead of water.

Hypoglycemia is low blood sugar. Easiest way to remedy it is to eat more and better a few hours prior to your workout.
