I have been eating omelettes for breakfast at least 3 times a week as well as a few hard boiled egg whites. I was wondering if this is too much. What is a healthy amount of eggs that wont affect my cholesterol?

Errrrr I eat around 10 egg whites daily and that's ever since almost two years now.....
I don't eat more than one yolk once in a while, it's the proteins I'm after, not the fat nor cholesterol (you got protein and vitamin in the yolk though so they are not THAT bad...).

new studies show that one egg a day doesn't raise your cholesterol level at all. before it was believed that eggs were unhealthy because of the amount of cholesterol in them. but now they've proved that they're quite healthy after all.

Exactly, what raises cholesterol is a high saturated fat intake, NOT cholesterol naturally found in foods.

I'm an 8 egg a day person.
Go for the protein.

Between the amount of eggs I eat daily, anywhere from 5-15 depending on the diet I am on, and the chicken I eat, I am suprised chickens aren't endangered by now(at least almost extinct!) LOL....
