The more you do, the more it will increase. YOu don't say how much you do now, if you are doing alot now, try some HIIT. Use the programs on the apparatus you are training on.

First start with slow easy HIIT (read the article in here!). Change between walking and running and then slowly and steady build up your endurance to more and more running and less walking.
