I just wanted to vent!!! Maybe others feel the same way I do.
1) cell phones in the gym, come on people, is it that urgent that you have to take calls in the gym. We all realize how important you are..lol.
2) people who sit on machines and rest for 5-10min are annoying...if you have to rest..... get off!!!
3) Last don't do cardio first and then lift weights.....please.

Oh my god! ..in reference to your #1 gripe...there was this woman on the treadmill a few weeks ago walking like 2mph while TALKING ON HER CELL-PHONE-I almost died.

GET OFF THE PHONE AND SWEAT!!!
LIFT OR GET OFF THE BENCH/MACHINE/SQUAT RACK!!!
S--t or get off the pot!
Do your cardio and weights in any order you desire, but wipe your sweat off the machines when you are done.

1 and 2 drive me crazy!!! I was just complaining about that on Sunday. The gym where I go is not a "meet market", we are all a little older but you still see those with the cell phones plastered to their ear!!! And resting on the machines, if it is between sets ok, but don't sit down there forever. I needed to get on the leg press the other day and I did several other exercises and still was not able to get on it because there was a lady just sitting there, TALKING on her cell phones!!!!

ok ok I take my cell because I home school and the kids are home so if they need me they can get in touch with me.
What crack me up is the guys that put to much weight on the machine pulldowns and are lifting out of the seat in order to pull the weight down, what kind of form is that and what are you working.

Thank god, there are people that understands my frustrations..lol. I go to Gold's gym, and its mostly a body builder's gym..but their are those few people that just aren't as serious about workouts. Not to offend anyone who does these irritating things regularly, but if that is you..maybe Bally's or Lifetime is the gym for you.

I agree cells are bad, but what really ticks me off are those people that feel since they will sweat, that they need to add more perfume/aftershave to cover the smell. Man that stinks! lol
-------------- IF YOU CAN STILL ITCH YOUR NOSE AFTER ARM DAY, GO DO ANOTHER SET!!!

I'd agree with #1 and #2. But I always thought it was good to do a bit of cardio before and after your lifting? As like a warm up and cool down? Am I wrong in doing this?

No, you are not wrong. the warmup protects your muscles, tendons and ligaments (not to mention your heart). And the cool down helps facilitate lactic acid removal from your muscles.

Okies. :) I will keep doing it then. BUT! I will be sure to whipe down the equipment I use so it isn't left all icky. :p
