Had 2 in the arm. I don't think it helped. There was no side effects at all. I think the problem went away on its own.

yes i have a pinch nerve in my lower back and sunday when i was walking i got a spasm that forced to the ground wierd huh...

cortisone is not a pain killer. it is a man-made hormone, a steroid (not anabolic) version of the body's own corticosteroids. it is widely used in many circumstances, from lung disease to allergies. in your case, j, it is used to depress the body's synthesis, release, and activation of inflammation producing chemicals. these injections tend to work very well, but it is only a temporary rememdy, generally until the body can heal itself or other more invasive medical treatments can be used.

my doctor said if that did not work i would probaly need back surgery and scares the crap out of me thaks for the feed back michael i really appreciate it....
