During my MAX OT chest workout is it that important to rest 2-3 minutes after and between each exersize? Im doing 3 different stations; I do flat bench, rest 30sec. machine butterflys, rest 30sec. dips, rest 30 sec. I do 5-6 sets of each of these W/5-6 reps of each exersize. Im lifting to build mass and just dont feel like waiting between each different set.

Well generally to gain mass you lift heavy with reps in the 6-8 range. Wht you have decribed is almost like a circuit training, which is more used for a cardio type of workout. I say kind of cause you do rest 30 sec. If you feel that that is enough to lift the next set, using heavy weights and proper form and make gains then use it. I usually do the same though if I feel tired i wait longer.

Well, this is not a Max Ot workout you are doing, I can guarantee you that. You are speaking of AST's Max ot? I use it extensively, and it would never call for what you are doing. The purpose of waiting between each set is to fully let your body part recover for the next HEAVY set, and not to limit yourself by being exhausted. The purpose is to be able to overload the muscle, thus inticing growth(mass gains).The way you are doing it will not build mass. Good luck, be patient between sets. You will be all the better gaining for it.

And another thing, it would never call for machine butterflies as you put it, I trust you mean pec deck. This neither is a mass building movement.

Yes its MAX OT, but I have modified it somewhat;
So what can you do while waiting between sets, and still lift to gain mass? 2-3 minutes is a long time.

No, sorry, you cannot modify Max Ot with something like pec deck. Doing this is not Max Ot and breaks the rules. Again, the 2 minutes rest is for your muscle to recover fully so it can handle the next HEAVY set. 30 sec. is not adequate time for this. You may want to go back and read, in fact I suggest it, the Max Ot literature again. It is free, and works great if you follow it. I personally have made the best gains of my life since implementing it. Modifying it to meet your desires will not get you the results you are after. Remember, the whole key to Max Ot is muscle overload. thus the rest and the compound exercises with heavy stimulus.

Hey; thanks for the quick replies and your input.
Another ?
Friday is my MAX-OT Chest day. Consisting of 3 diff exersizes.
The 1st exersize Im supposed to do is the flat barbell bench press 3 sets, 4-6 reps. Do I finish all 3 sets before continuing to the next exersize?
