2nd day of the 1st week back

Got to the gym again today... pretty damn happy! Again, nothing too major, but this is the skelton of what my workouts will look like over the next 8 weeks, in other words, I'll be adding and subtracting some lifts. On a really great note: I haven't done deads for a reeeeeeeeeeally long time, but I decided to work them in a little to build up some explosive strength. Since I can't go past knee level, I just did them off the rack from there:

Deadlifts from the rack
HS Dips
Cable Tricep Extensions w/rope attachment
Incline Dumbbell Curls
Abs

Getting my diet more in line, especially quanity wise, but still need to work on the volume by next week:
- omlette with ricotta cheese, peppers, onions, tomatoes
- Shake: 1 cup of oatmeal, 2c of milk, scoop of protein, 1 tbsp Peanut Butter
- 8" Mesquite grilled chicken sandwiche from Port O' Subs
- Bowl of my homemade chili
- pre-workout shake
- Animal Snak bar, glass of milk (forgot to bring my post-workout shake)
- Homemade Manicotti and chicken breast
- Small protein shake

I usually grind up the oatmeal dry before adding the wet stuff. Less chunky that way.

TY much, Mutt, but I've got a little bit to go before I'm actually back "in the swing of things"......LOL! And, yes, triciakent, I put 2 cups of milk in a blender, add 1 cup (2 servings) of oatmeal, and then whatever else I want in it. It's a great and easy way to get carbs and fiber in the morning. I posted here at FTs the complete recipe for my "Shake of Mass." Maybe I'll add it to my journal entry.

Am I reading that correct? You put oatmeal in your shakes?
