to do it right i would say it's going to take quite a while i put 20lbs on in 2 years but thats bulking up and then cutting and so on, so as not to accumulate a lot of fat.

LOL, well need to start eating bro. BIG TIME. what can i say? i dont know another way to gain weight if you are not eating. althou, you shouldnt eat ehatever you want, this will lead to fat accumulation and not muscle weight, and we dont want that right? so i would say, eat more chicken,tuna,meat.... potatoe, get the pasta, bread, rice you want eat a lot of good fat.

you could buy a weight gainer, or eat a ton of mcdonalds double quater pounders with milshakes. lol just kidding about the fast food!

ummm...u guys, im not a guy.:) and i dont care about the muscle or fat, just which ever way is faster or if i shud get fat and muscle at the same time and how..cuz i used to weigh more and idk wut happened but now idk how to gain ANY weight. but in the past 5 days ive gained about 2 lbs and i think its cuz i was eating alot of food, mostly forcing it cuz i dont eat alot, im not used to it. but yah so um.. do i just keep eating alot or do i exercise cuz idk. i dont know if i shud really exercise bcuz i have a fast metabolism so wudnt i just lose weight anyway? i really need halp, cant u tell? :big_smile:

i am sorry smiles, i tought you were a guy since normally, we are the ones looking for weight gain.

my bad.

regarding your problem, if you only eat and dont excercise, the only part of the body that will grow will be your belly. on the other hand, if you excercise, you get to have , as an example, more toned legs and more butt, wich looks great by the way, and therefore gain "healthy weight"

eat a lot of good fats and more carbs.

i was a cheerleader, and i quit bcuz i was embarrassed about my weight, cuz being skinny made me look weird wearing a skirt, i dont wear skirts, shorts, and now i dont wear short sleaved shirts anymore either. my arms and legs are really skinny but ppl tell me i dont need to worry bout anything else cuz i got it lol. how do i make my arms bigger but not like those big muscular girls? and how do i make my legs fatter..like really fat?? wut workouts should i do? shoul i work out? or wud i lose weight? bcuz my metabolism is really fast and idk if has anything to do with working out so im just asking..i seriously need help.

one look at the grocery list for a bodybuilder.....in the diet section.

next eat 4 5 times a day.....sandwiches fruit try and get 300-400calories a "meal"

finally look for a workout on here......under fitnes plan I believe...it will give you one and all you have to do is follow it.


dont' worry about it your very young an dyou will grow i promise.

I dated a girl in highschool that was 90lbs and I was 270 lol

let me elaborate: Most females do not have the genetics to get "muscular". Most of the female bodybuilders that you see on the front page of magazines are on juice. And if you only weigh 80 lbs, I seriously doubt you have the kind of genetics to get like that. Besides, almost muscle looks healthy, whether on a girl or guy.

the fastest way, not caring about nutrition, would be to go to mcdonalds or burger king as often as possible for a month and just eat a bunch of crap. Anyone see that movie about that guy who did that?

gowar, what kinda advise is that? I mean come on seriosuly. Yes he gained weight, his also got a fatty liver, his triglycerides went crazy, as well as his cholesteral.......yes she well gain weight, also health problems.

you need to really think before you tell someone somthing like this. Someone may actually take it seriously.

I am sorry but 80 lb in itself does not sound unhealthy....it depends on your height....I got a female friend at around 4'11/5'0 she's also around 80....she's 20....perfectly healthy....at 14 you probably just finished growing and it will take time to 'fill out' your frame...

What is your height? body fat?...

Just focus on increasing protein intake to about 100-120grams...eat lots of healthy complex carbs(yams, sweet potatoes, brown rice, lentils, any kind of beans)...although you're so skinny you can also eat simple carbs in smaller portions also (potatoes, rice, pasta, etc), also eat moderate amounts of healthy fats(nuts, avacadoes, olive oil, fish oil..etc).....

Make sure you have 6-7 meals which include lots and lots of healthy snacks like sandwiches, trail mix, yougurt, fruit, and such.....

First of all, my dear, you probably haven't hit puberty yet. when us girls finally get our period, we get some boobs and bigger hips. no need to worry that much, you'll be thankful to have that fast metabolism when you're older. believe me, just be patient, and keep eating lots of good foods. just because you have a fast metabolism, doesn't mean you cant work out. if thats what you like to do, then go for it. don't worry, you'll be writing in a couple more years asking how do i get rid of this huge butt and chunky tummy. good luck :big_smile:

80 pounds is pretty small. But to gain weight is simple, just EAT. and after you're feeling sick from eating....GO EAT AGAIN!! that's the only way dude. plus, you're at the age where your body will start to fill out over the next few years so that will help too....To gain that much weight, you gotta get crazy. I used to drink tuna fish milkshakes as a weight gainer. Damn near barfed every single time, but the amounts of calories and protein that I ingested were amazing

Goodness, I wish I only weighed 80lbs! My boyfriend would love that...lol...I'm at 135lbs right now...Girl, try and stay tiny. When I was 11-12 years old, I started training very hard with Olympic Romanian Volleyball players turned coaches. I was doing 2 or 4 hours of hard practice every night of the week. Talk about a work out. To make a long story short, I started seriously working out way too young. I am only 5'4'' and I have a great vertical jump, but also huge, muscular thighs (which I hate), serious calf muscles and just a bulky frame in general. So, dont worry about gaining or losing any weight right now. Just eat well, (mommas home cookin') and stay a little bit active. Have you seen Sarah Jessica Parker? She's practically the tiniest woman in Hollywood, but she has great legs and she's adored by everyone cuz she's so dang cute! So, chin up! There are people that would LOVE to be 80lbs! You are one of the lucky ones! You'll grow into those lanky arms and legs soon enough...lol.

I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW, ANYBODYS SECRET FOR GAINING WEIGHT ALSO

IM 6'3 195LBS, BUT IM WANTING TO GAIN MUSCLE, AND SPEED....I RIPPED OFF SOME WORK OUT DRILLS DONE BY THE SEATTLE SEAHWAKS,IM TAKING MULTI-VITAMINS & CREATINE, AND DRINK TONS OF WATER, I USED TO RUN A 4.3 FOR FOOTBALL, BUT NOW DOWN TO 4.8 SINCE I STOPPED FOR 5 YEARS, WANTING TO GET BAKC TO MY 4.3 AND HIT 205-210 LBS, MY PROBLEM IS IM NOT SEEING ANY WEIGHT GAIN, OVER THE LAST 3-4 WEEKS, AND IM EVEN EATING MORE, SOMEONE HELP?

check the powerlifting section for lots of useful info...generally to become faster you would need to get considerably stronger without putting on much weight...

to put on weight you have to eat more....bottom line...6-10 meals a day if you have to...which includes snacks like protein bars, shakes, etc...this has been discussed in length in many posts...just do a little search in the option at the bottom of the page...

carbs dont eat fast food just healthy food high in fat and carbs increase ur porportions

hey well i am 16 5'8 and weigh 115. i eat like crazy rice and alot of meats but i don't that is too good. i am about to be a senior and i am SMALL!!! but very active so i am toned. i want to gain my chest and arm mass, and put on about 20 lbs. what would be good for me?

Never too quickly!! Safely, you should allow about 2-3 months to <a href=http://how-to-lose-stomach-fat-fast.yourhealthorbit.com/>lose stomach</a>. On average, you should safely lose no more than 2-3 lbs per week. Any more and you could run serious health risks. Exercising is also included in this. Eat your three meals. But, try to add more carbs...but, the cimplex kind (pasta) and not too much protein (meat). Not good to drastically change diet. Also, take away too much sugary foods and sweet and alcohol
