I'm sure this question has been asked a thousand times, but is it alright to workout while still sore? Does is hinder the workout or is it beneficial? Today I'm supposed to workout again but I'm sore as hell from two days ago.

You could always work another muscle group. Like do chest and biceps one day, tri's and stomach another, and back and legs on another. That way each group has a week to recover, so it shouldn't be sore the next time you want to work it.

London is right, try and break down your routine. Do what's benificial to you.
I think the most logical way to workout is to break them down into groups such as back/bi's, chest/tri's, legs, and maybe shoulders (shoulders take a beating everytime you train no matter what). Throw in a rest day or 2 and you have yourself a schedule in progress. Feeling the soreness after a workout is great, meaning that you've had a great workout. Remember to stretch thoroughly when you hit the gym next.

If the same muscle group is still sore the next scheduled workout for that group, then just do a light workout of it. It will actually work the soreness out. May hurt a bit at first, but after a couple good sets when you get blood pumping to them, it will be a marked improvement.
