I eat after working out, just because I don't like working with food in my stomach. If I'm unable to work out first thing in the morning, I'll have a light snack pre-workout, but nothing big.

I guess it depends on what makes you feel better. To me, I feel as if I get a better workout in on an empty stomach, but everybody's different. As to wether or not it matters, everybody seems to have their own opinion. I don't think it makes a huge difference though, and to me the only thing that matters is how I feel while exercising.

I don't think you want to be too empty... I'm usually in there about 45 minutes after my oatmeal and whatever protien I get.

I've heard as little as half an hour to as long as four hours.

I wouldn't eat somthing big and heavy in carbs...it may bloat you or make you feel heavy. Atleast it does with me...somthing simple to put in your stomach...then eat somthing "bigger" after your workout.

I have to get up at either 3am or 4am to train. It sucks but it works for me an dmy goals...my blood sugar tends to drop on heavy squat and deadlift days..so i take some fruit of V8 to gym with me and drink or eat that mid workout. Of corse i'm at gym 2 hours somtimes..since i train with 5 other guys.

When i get up...i drink a big glass of water..and take 4 mass amino's.

I cook 4-6 eggs...maybe some turkey sausage. I divide this in two...eat half before training...other half afterward. I will also eat some fruit, stray berries or canalope are my new favs.

I train..i'll take 4 more mass amino's and drink or eat somthing.

After workout eat the rest of my breakfast.

I like to have something small to get the metabolism going.
