Working at a gym....Sales

I was just browsing jobs online... and came across my gym is hiring sales people. I go to Gold's Gym. Supposedly we have the world's largest Gold's. It is really nice...
So anyway, it said I could make 45k+ doing sales. What do you think? The only thing I hated was when the sales people called me all the time wanting me to join. That is what I would have to do to other people. But I would get a free membership if I worked there. So that is $49 a month. Hmmm. I love going to the gym. What do you think? Oh yeah the gym is only 12 minutes from my house.

Tough call.. I have to say it doesn't seem like people last in that job very long. Not a long-term career or anything but it would get you entry-level sales experience to move onto another sales position elsewhere.

Is the free membership only good for as long as you work there? Negotiate for lifetime membership with locked down dues, stick it out to pay the bills for a spell and move on!

Only if you can suck it up and live with the fact that you will be bugging the crap out of people for your paycheck though LOL.
