I am a new member and I got my weekly work out routines but i feel that the amount of working out is not that much. Is it ok for me to add excercises, or should i just stick with what I am given.

Thanks

Follow your body, if you feel tired then stop but if you want to add one more exercise, go ahead.
What routine did you choose?

Damon I found the same thing sort of. I only had say 3-4 machines to do. If I work out a lone I can get thru 3 machines somewhat quick. with a 20sec rest between sets. So I just add in a few. Make sure you don't over work areas, and you rest up the properly however.

One of the more neglected rules of weight training is to stick tightly to a well planned routine. Now I'm not sure if the FT workouts are well planned, but they seem to do a decent job of hitting all muscles. The reason that you're supposed to stick to a routine is to prevent overtraining or undertraining anything and to avoid imbalances. Generally you're going to be stronger in your favorite exercises and not strong enough in your least favorite. The message is, slow down on the exercises you like and pick it up on the ones you don't.
