I've been working out for about 5 months now, and i am getting stronger and bigger, however my body build is still narrow. Such as I do not have broad shoulders, or a broad back. Is there any way I can do exercises to help broaden my upper body? Any help is appreciated.

5 months is not that long, keep it up. prioritize shoulders and back if you need more of a v-taper to your physique.
Heay weight, hard work, good form. Do pull-ups, pull-downs, rows, shoulder presses, lateral raises.

wide-grip. you won't be able to do as much weight, but it'll come with time.

Wide grip don't neccassrly mean a wide back......You can't change a shap of a muscle, only make it bigger.......good form on back days and shoulder days will really help.
My personal favs.......
dumbell one arm rows
behind the back shrugs( head down)hold it for 3 sec)
deadlifts
t bar rows
cable rows ( medium grip)
partial deadlifts
upright rows
side laterals
bent over laterals
Also good diet is very important, can't build muscle with a crappy diet.
