My friend and I are having a little talk about workouts and she insists that
3 Sets of 12-15 Reps of min 6 exercises performed 3 X a week is the BEST workout.HEr workout takes an hour or more
I insist that doing
3 Sets of 8 reps of max 3 exercises perfomed 3X a week is the BEST workout.
I find that my way,I am better able to concentrate on my form which allows me to lift better
What do you think..Is there pros and cons to each?

I think that the best workout is the one that you like and will stick to. Yours may be better for you and hers may be better for her. Having said that I think it also depends on what you are wanting to do. One person may want to put on more muscle and one person may want to say more aerobic while doing weights too.

There isnt one best workout...really is what works best for u...I would prefer something more similar to your workout....however to each their own...

yeah, you will find folks who swear by one workout or another. The correct one is the one that fits your individual needs. There are some standards that are pretty much percieved conventional wisdom, i.e..lower reps heavy weights less sets for power/strngth/mass gain, and higher sets/frequency while maintaining heavy weight as possible to tax the muscle.
