ok so I do 41 minutes on the elliptical a day (7200 strides,3.3 miles,500 calories) then I do 20 minutes on the treadmill (1.3 miles 130 calories). my question is should I do the treadmill first to "warm up", or is it ok to just do what I am doing?

My suggestion is to to warm up on the machine you will be using. Why all that cardio? Ellipticle is muuch more effective than the tread mill and easier on the body as you may all ready know.
-------------- A little discipline at the table and at the gym might help reduce that belly!

I thought an hour a day is ok?!...when I cant make it to the gym I walk 4.4 miles I thought you should have 60 minutes a day!
anyway I just didnt think my elliptical was enough so a few weeks ago I thought I would top off with an extra mile on the treadmill after!

You'd be better off adding some wt training instead of more cardio!

the only thing I have added was walking the extra mile on the treadmill, I already do 25 minutes of weights after cardio on the days I go to the gym.
