I'm in my 4th week of home train & abs train.I work out faithfully even on the days I am to rest I do at least half training.I watch what I eat and only drink water now.I know I'm getting stronger but I can't see any difference yet.How much longer before I see any improvements?

tabethalynn, ravenwolf is correct, it does take anywhere between the 8th and 10th week for women. men seem to burn faster a lot more faster than women since their metabolism is a lot faster.. rest days are what they are, rest days, no workouts should be performed, but keep with the diet on those days as well.
good luck and let us know how you are doing and when you see changes.

Sounds like you want a make over. Its not going to happen overnight. Don't expect to complete a workout and look different. Your body progressively changes outside the gym. While your resting and sleeping. keep in mind what the ravens told you and you will see a great change. Keep up the good hard work and remember, give your body that rest day, and give yourself a cheat day in the diet.

Lots of good info posted to you. I noticed results within 5-6 weeks. I am not a scale person but that was explained to you already. I also follow a very strict diet now and do a good mix of weight and cardio. You also need to remember that, if you are out of shape how long did you let your body go? It takes time to repair what you might have dine in the past. But keep with it and you will have nowhere to go but looking and feeling better.

Remember too, that this is a lifestyle change. Nothing worth having is easy to come by. Slow, steady results are better than anything you can acheive overnight. I've even gotten to the point that it really tees me off when I have dinner with the in-laws and I pass on the dessert or make sure most of what I eat is good for me. (They like lots of FAT FOODS!) One of them will say, oh, you're on a "diet" or something? And I'll say, no, I'm on a "lifestyle." It shuts them right up! Just keep it up, don't backslide, and you'll get there!!

Lol kkor: got to do that last night. They like pasta, so I thought fine, have not had this in a while, I will have a plate, plus have not had pasta in a week or two. Then out come the cake. Grandparents enjoy feeding my wife and I. But passed up on their deserts last few times I have been there. Even thou some of them are so good, but the dinners are enuf in them selfs. :)

Thank you all for your great insights.I do watch everything I eat but I have a cheat treat every once in awhile. The reason I like to train alittle on rest days is because I feel like I'm doing something wrong if I don't.
