I have had a serious operation to have my bladder removed. I now have an orthotopic bladder( reconstructed from small intestine). What sort of routine can I follow when I get the OK from doctor to visit gym.

This will all depend on your doctor's orders as far as restrictions and what your goals are.

Thanks for reply. In the past ie before operation the doctor suggested cardio exercises only, no heavy lifting. I just want to get in some sort of shape again, stomach to be firmer! I lost about half a stone in weight after op and I would like to keep it that way.

Start light lifting until you get the okay for heavier lifting. you should feel firmer from regaining muscle tone. Your diet will play the biggest role in how your physique shapes up.
