I just became a FT member. What an great site to stumble upon, I can't wait to begin....today actually is the 1st day of my exercise program. Before I start I want to figure out if I am at a beginner or intermediate level.....I have been working out for nearly a year, I know how to use all the equipment e.t.c and feel I have a good grasp of the basics but I don't want to over do it. I put my self as intermediate is that right?

The proper way of training, whether you are a beginner, intermediate or advanced trainer, is to listen to your body.
Good luck with your program!

If you have been training all along, and this is just a change in program, you are by far not a beginner, at the very least intermediate to advanced. If you are just re starting after not doing it for a while, just ease into your weights, start with weights that are comfortable, and then work your way up. Good luck, and welcome.
