Im not sure if this applies to everyone, or just me, but i find that when i give my muscles plently of time to rest (like 1 week) and i give em a good workout, the next day, they'll be totally wrecked and sore and it feels good coz it takes em days to recover.
But if i have less rest (say 2-3 days) between workouts of that muscle, then i wont get the same soreness, and infact i wont feel sore the next day.

I tend to relate the day after sore feeling to a good workout, but when i do work out alot, i actually dont get sore, and its very unsatisfying.

does anyone know what im talking about?
:)

so if i work out hard, but dont feel sore the next day, what does that mean? is it a good thing or bad thing?

also, when i work out my traps, seems like my lower traps get sore the next day, where as my upper traps remain unaffected, any advice?

Ah, the fact that you are not getting sore could be that your body is adapting to the current amount of weights used, maybe you should increase them? Or try different exercises for the same muscles? Things like that tend to help :)

To get results is not always a question about how sore you feel the days after......
You'll still be working your muscles and get results (but you need to change exercise routine every around 8 weeks).
Good luck!
