I have a question on the weights. Example 20,16,14,12 reps, how heavy do I go? Do I use enough weight to fail at 16,14,12 or do I use a little less.

I find that I use enough weight so that the on last 3 reps of the set I "feel the burn". To establish how much weight to use - try a starter weight you feel comfortable with, then increase it if is too easy or decrease it if it's too hard. You will soon know what you can handle after a few trials.
