Try using one of those dip belts that have a chain so you can use Olympic weights instead of dumbbells. A leather belt wraps around your waist and the chain extends down between your legs in front of you. Simply put on how ever much weight you need. I was considering buying one of these belts for when I do pull-ups.

Good advice..

the dip belt is terrific.. you'd be surprised how much weight you can handle and how fast your dip strength will increase with it.

Good Luck.

I might have to try that. I was able to crank out 80 dips today, 4 sets of 20. A first. Thay hurt but at the same time feel great!!
