I've lost a total of about eight to ten pounds so far, and I'm not exactly sure where the weight came off of. When weight loss occurs, is there a part of the body that it usually takes off of first? My waist hasn't gotten any slimmer, and I'm trying to figure out where it went. By the way, I'm drinking more water than God created -- so I know it isn't water weight.

Hey.. Please fill out your profile and welcome to our community.
well everyone will respond differently. Drinking more water is a great step. Perhaps you lost some off the things? Rear end? Arms? For females, the areas that come ff last are thighs and rear end and for males, love handles and stomach.
Besides, congrats on losing the 8 pounds.. as long as it keeps coming off.. good! You're doing something right!

Well, you may be surprised to hear this, but even though you are drinking more water, what you lost may very well have been water weight. Drinking more water will actually help your body from retaining water, due to the fact it is getting adequate amounts. Did you just start your diet? Was/is it lower carbs? If so, this is very normal to lose early on in the first 3-10 days. As arnold says, please fill in your profile. Will help us to aid you even more. Congrats on the loss by the way.
