im only 15, and i *THINK* i'm still growing. i've been hearing alot about weight lifting, and how it will stop/slow down my growth. does anyone know if these rumors are true..?

i'd love to get a muscular body, but not at the cost of my height.

First of all it is true and then again it is not true. Let me explain. If as a grwoing young man train with proper form I mean perfect and not try to go heavy all the time you will be fine. Just stick to the basics and you will see a lot of growth. If you train with poor form and heavy weight you could injure your "growth plates" these are what makes you grow taller....so find someone that knows what they are doing and lift away!
