Does this stuff like work? When I was at GNC I saw something called like 2500 or something, it's 2500 Calories? Do I get fat or what does this do? I worked really hard from being a "fat ass", now I am like a slick 160, with 7 percent body fat. I was once a 220 lbs. fat ass. What does it do? THanks.

Does what it says; helps you to gain weight from the calories. Of course if you work out enough it will be muscle, not fat. The calorie count should be on the back of the weight gain jug. I would use it if I could afford it. Hope it helps.

But like I don't have to train any harder or anything? Just take it and i will gain weight, the weight being muscle?

If you notice, most weight gainers have a ton of carbs. That's where a bulk of the calories lie. These complex carbs replenish glycogen stores in the muscle. The more glycogen in the muscle, the larger it can appear. However, if you are going to take a weight gainer, I would advise that you really step up the intensity in your workouts. The carbs can and will turn to fat if they are not utilized. Although my goals are mass, mass, and more mass, I don't take a weight gainer. A good meal replacement shake and maybe a bar here and there between meals will be more beneficial. I would suggest simply to eat more protein, include more low-glycemic carbs and good quality fats in your diet, and lift with intensity. Try that first; then if you aren't seeing the results you want after a couple months, see what the weight gainer will do for you. Good luck!

Thats what I thought. I already do intensity training, I eat 6 times a day, each with a portion of carbs. 3 before my work out, and after i workout i wait one hour, then eat 3 more times, but i have 2 portions of carbs. I take creatine right before I work out. I have gained like 10 pounds of lean musle in the past 3 months so is that like good progress? I don't know like the rate or whatever. I was 135 3 months ago, and i'm like 145 now. It's like mad expensive to buy the shakes to take them 3 times a day, so I take 1 shake a day, and 2 bars a day, and 3 regular meals, im getting like 100 grams of protein. I need like protein powder or something but thanks so much!

to really gain mass you need protein intake in grams to match your body weight i.e. if you weigh 160 now you need 160 g of protein intake a day, so that 100 g with other sources of protein from your meals should be about right but one more protein shake probably could help if you work out regularly and intensely

I'd like to be able to "eat" that much protein but I just can't afford it. Protein powder is so expensive if you take the full serving. Even with eating it just costs so much. How do you do it?

I don't do it. The shakes are mad expensive. I use to take 3 a day but thats like $50 a week, now I take 1 a day, and 2 power bar protein plus, so I am getting like 100 grams of protein from the shake and the bars, then whatever is for dinner and lunch and breakfest is the other protein. I usally make my own shake, like no powders before I go to bed to try and add like 600 calories to my diet for some bulk. You don't need protein to get big, look at people in prision, lol, do you think they have shakes? So train hard and the results will come!
