I heard that drinking a lot of water helps the body lose weight. I am trying to gain weight, so with the amount of protein and supps I take, I drink about 60 ounces of water a day. Is it true then about the weight gain or loss? Someone fill me in please. Thanks. The Hog.

P.S. How many gallons is 60 oz.

One gallon is 128oz. I use a 32 oz cup when I work out and drink at least one (2 or 3 on somedays) just while I'm working out. I'll use that cup the whole rest of the day. I usually fill it an additional 4-6 times per day at work. In case you're wondering, yes I do spend a lot of time in the bathroom.

Water is needed to hydrolize fat and its the best natural body purifer known to me. Water is also needed to support an anabolic environment. I'd double or triple your intake of water, especially if you're taking creatine.

Water makes you fill full. Just be sure to drink enough water to stay hydrated. Hydrated muscles are anabolic muscles. One gallon a day shouldn't be to hard for you to drink, Just eat something every time you drink something..
