I am training some of the volleyball players at my college currently and I just wondered if there are any others out there that can give me some input. Thanks for any help.

Look at the library for 'Getting Stronger' by Bill pearl - has on and off season training programs for nearly every sport, including volleyball.
Some points he hits on-
Jumping training - plyometrics, jumps with tubing, jumps over barriers..
Weight training - free weights, ephasizing lower body power and strength, shoulder and arm work.
Interval running - to incraese endurance.
There are full programs in the book - but I will let you look it up!

Walking in the squatting position, running and stopping,
Running and pivoting. These are some we do during handball (netball to some)practices. Legs are most important.
If you are in a warm weather area, send me a plane ticket and I'll come down to help! j/k:big_smile:

Thanx guys I am not certified to officially train people but I am going to head off to college to do it. Right now I just get most of my information by talking to trainers on the internet. I was just tryin to find some new stuff to help my girlfriend do for the upcoming fall season.
