I am in the process of gaining weight and am taking a weightgainer/protein drink before and after workouts. I will be going on a vacation for two weeks and wanted to get some two a days in for the last week and a half before i go.
I have heard with gaining weight that you need to let your muscles heal, so would it be ok to do two a days for a week and a half, and how should i go about it.
A lot of times when I don't feel like I need a break from lifting yet but know I'll be required to take one, I deliberately overtrain prior to the vacation, doing things like two a days, using intensity techniques, and upping my overall volume. I think you'll be ok doing this.
