This is a tough call. Many factors play a part here. Everyone is different, has different goals and different tolerances. If you are very earnest about achieving a goal, especially dieting for fat loss, then you will probably want to cheat less.
Some folks get a "taste" of cheating for instance, and then think the next week, well last week it didn't hurt me, I can do it again, and then it becomes more frequent, and the next thing you know you are back to your fat f@#k eating habits. The problem is, it does not show immediately, but when you do see it is too late. If you think this is an exaggeration, witness the tons of folks who cry because they cannot lose weight, yet want and have their "comfort" foods. Most of us, especially as we age, literally cannot have our cake and eat it too! You have to know your personality to figure out if you can cheat and how much. Once you are very focused and strong, then a bit of cheating can be acceptible and in fact helpful. But till you reach that point, don't fool yourself.
