Greetings to All,

After a 25 year leave from working out with weights, I just
signed up for the FT training program and my schedule is
as follows:

Day 1 Chest shoulders, tricepts
Day 2 & 3 Rest
Day 4 Back, Biceps, and forearms
Day 5 Rest
Day 6 legs and calves.
Day 7 Rest

Now comes my question. I cannot work out on saturday,
So I rearraged my schedule to:

Day 1 Chest Shoulders, Triceps
Day 2 Rest
Day 3 Legs and Calves
Day 4 Rest
Day 5 Back, Bicpes and Forearm
Day 6 & 7 rest

Is there any problem with rearranging my schedule like that?
Boy! it sure feels good to throw the weights around again :)

Just an ol'man wanting to know

Thanks, Guitarlove....AKA John R.

That is fine. As long as you get those workouts in it doesn't matter if you take Sat as your rest day. Remember work-out schedules are guidelines. They are best when you fit them to your needs. Good luck and Welcome back to the world of Pumping Iron!

No probs John. You are training the upper body the first day so you don't really need two days of rest before doing the legs (if you're having two following days of rest actually it's better between the chest day and the back day). What you have (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) is fine.
You'll get fast results too. Good luck to you!
