I'm new here and had a question about toning the stomache. What exercises work the best. I'm 5'6", 116 pounds, so I don't want to lose any weight, I just want to tone down my stomache. I'm not wanting to do crunches, as I don't really want the bulgy stomache, although I do side crunches. Anything else that would help, but not make me lose weight?

table pushes.......meaning your diet is the #1 thing you can do for your stomach. Exercises can help once you get rid of the layer of fat, but until then what you eat is important.

There are many ab workouts that could give you a six pack. You'll need to adjust your diet a small amount since your thin already. I'm not sure what you eat but if you drink soda eliminate a lot of that. You can do flutter kicks any ab machine in the gym works low weight. Crunches sit ups.leg ups scissor kicks. Weighted sit ups. There are a ton but to me abs sucks to workout thats the only muscle i dont work at the gym. I use my ab lounge at home. lame i know but its easy and conveniant right before i go to bed.

since your a female and am probablly not worried about beeing extremm;y ripped, just try something that will raise the heart rate, wether it b a treadmill, and eliptical machine, or a bike, just break a sweat, but eat before doing so, nothing fatty though, try to eat around 40 g of fat per day some variation is fine, but eat lots of protien, fish, chicken, red meat or supplements, and keep the calories between 1500 to 2000, and you'll be on your way. crunches situps and ab exercises will Not slim the belly, only your diet will. be healthy, sorry for the typos and bad grammar, im in a rush, good luck stick to it
