1st post, i realise there's probably 10000 previous posts on this subject but i wasn't sure where to look or post so i thought i would start a new thread. I'm 21, been working out for around 10 months and i can see a difference but for all the time and effort i put in i feel i should see more gain. I work out 3 times a week, biceps/triceps/chest twice a week and shoulders/back once a week. I measure up at 5ft 10", 11 stone 8 ish (165 lbs),30-32 inch waist, 40-41 inch chest, 14-14.5 inch bicep, naturally big shoulders (don't know size) and don't know my body fat, pretty low I'd say. I work hard at the gym doing high weight low rep sets (3 exercises for each muscle, 4 sets each exercise)takes about an hour and a half to complete. Drink optimum nutrition protein shakes twice a day and try to each as much protein/carbs as possible (could probably eat more). Was just wanting to know if anyone could give me any tips to improve quicker and also if my measurements where uptoscratch for my size? Thanks!

Apparently you've filled in your profile.

Legs.. you still need to do legs... squats, lunges... gotta do 'em to help you grow all around.

I was thinking about starting squats, but its fitting it in with what i do, im struggling for time at times, but i should start doing it. Ive been told doing core muscles or exercises that encorporate more than 1 muscle is better than foccusing on 1 muscle when doing and exercise, is that true?

Depends what your goals are.
