the scale is depressing

man i have been working out right, eating right, and then i weigh myself and the scale says i've gained 4 pounds! what the hell man! its stuff like this that makes me really angry. i havent eaten any junk or not excercised. man this better be muscle or water weight!

Don't rely on the scale... try using a tape measure... you may notice some changes in your body's appearance and shape...

thats what im turning too because i could have tossed that thing out the window this morning i was so angry. on second thought maybe a should, bombs away!!

Good move shene. Forget the scale and take tims advice. If you put on muscle, then surely the weight will go up and the fat goes down. Then the tape measure tells you the truth!

Are you weighing yourself at the time time everyday? This can also have a big impact. Also your hydration can impact heavily. For example of you have a big glass of water, you can increase your weight by a pound.

My favorite indicator is simply who my clothes fit on me. When I am training well, my pants are loose around my waist, yet my shirt gets tighter across the chest and arms.

I'm not sure what program you chose, but most likely you are replacing fat with muscle. Muscle weights more than fat, which would explain why you weight more than before you started.
