I wanted to write to those that are trying to loose weight. I am really talking to those that need to loose moe than that pesky 10 lbs. You know who you are. This is meant to be a motivational post. First let me say that true weight loss is possible. I am talking about the real kind not that losse 20 gain 30 back. It is up to you to acheive it though no one is going to do it. A number of posts here brought me to write this. They are all of people who want to loose weight, some a lot ( and those are the ones I am talking to) some not too much. I am a fat man. I have been fat most of my life. That said I am a fit fat man. Can that be true, you ask? Well I may weigh more than 2 people put together, But I can honestly say that for a guy my size I am in better shape than half of the men I work with possibly more than half. What does that mean to you? Well it means, that you can be fit and be heavy, that you can do this. I am losing bodyfat, by eating a lot fo food and lifting hard, I will loose more when I add cardio soon. It is not easy at times I will be honest here, I wish I could cut my stomach off witha knife. I have been sudical over my weight at times, and still get down about it. Then I go to the gym and lift and it is all better. Yup you read right I eat a lot, and in the past year have lost 6 inches from my waist while gaining 14 lbs of muscle. Ihope this is making sense to you that you need to lift hard eat well and get it done. I hope you take this to hear t and do it instead of waiting like I did figureing that ti was meant to be. The weight is what you let it be an asset in the gym, you most likely if you work at it lift more than others, and it is a great tool of motivation. It is always there to remind you why you are there. So I am here all the time reading and posting, if any of you want to contact me about this feel free to email me.....good luck and lets make a promise to get it done no more complaining like I do at times, no more excuses and above all lets not let it win!!!!

Mutt...you stress one of my major points very well that I do with all clients and on this board too...first and foremost, be healthy for your body. You don't have to look like a bodybuilder or fitness model to be healthy!! Well said!!

Great message Mutt! Its like looking at your body fat as being fuel so you can use it up in getting stronger.
