I found a couple of target heart rate calculators... the one on this site tells me my target heart rate is anywhere between 101bpm and 129 bpm... another I found tells me 120bpm t0 138bpm... I know it's different for everybody, and the 10 or so bpm difference isn't my concern. What has me wondering is the fact during the 'go-hard' portion of my Interval Training, my bpm has gotten as high as 160! It's only for one minute that I hit that range, but is this a concern? It seems fairly easy for me to hit that number and it almost seems 'easy' to hit the 129/138 mark. Is hitting 160 a concern for the minute?
Thanks,
Tim
