ok... i sweat a lot when im running on the treadmill, full waterworks after 5 mins, you get the picture... my boxers are always soaked after 25 mins or so, not so much my shorts cause theyre made of some special fabric or some crap but is this normal to sweat from there so much? It's annoying and embarrising.

The fitter you get, the more you sweat! I love it when my forearms start to sweat, it is the hallmark of a good workout!
You could just genetically be a sweater, too. But your body is just being very efficient at cooling your core. Now go take a shower, i am sure you smell ripe! -------------- If you fall down seven times, get up eight. |

I think it is normal. That is to say, my rear sweats a lot, and if I am working hard, I leave puddles on the ground. As long as your heart rate is where you want it don't sweat the sweating, afterall, that is part of working hard.

Not tryijng to sel products or any thing, but I resently purchased as hirt made from underarmor great stuff, they also make under wear, shirts shorts and the tight fitting kind. They all pull moisture away from skin and keep it dry, and the materal doesn't ever "feel" wet. Kinda expensive, but great to work out it in . I'm a sweater too, the girl complain alot cause I sweat on them somtimes at practice( cheerleading) Try some i know you be hooked im lol......just remember the gym is the place to sweat....no if you sitting at work and you butt starts sweating, then we may have a problem. But as long as you don't stink......who cares.-------------- .......adversity causes some to break, but others to break records! ......minds are not vessles to be filled, but fires to be enlightened ......Confucious once said ,DO NOT play leap frog with a unicorn |

It's normal. If we didn't sweat we would over heat, just like a car! Not good.
And yes the "Underarmour" dry fit clothing is one of the best out there. I have about 5 of the t shirts. Even the hockey players all wear them under the equipment. -------------- "A will finds a way, failure is not an option" Ivan carivan@freetrainers.com Montreal Canada |

I bring a small towel with me when I workout. I also have clients who wear wrist bands and headbands amde of absorbent terry cloth.
You are supposed to sweat at the gym. That would be why it is called a WORKout. All those non-sweaters need to be chased around the track until they break a sweat. -------------- If you fall down seven times, get up eight. |

My sweat is a gift, I feel great after getting a good sweat on because I know why that sweat got there, I earned it, lol. Be proud to sweat when you work, and another bonus, it shows those muscles off in greater light. And as far as the smell, for me it doesn't come around unless it I have to wait a bit to get a shower (when your out in the feild or doing training you don't always get a chance to shower right afterwerd).-------------- A determined mind is the best weapon in any situation, a strong body is the road to victory. Okay - here is a new question about sweating - does anyone find that when they eat clean, they sweat more easily?
Lately I eat breakfast and after breakfast I have to change into a tanktop because I am overheating. I break a sweat vacuuming the house, almost anything causes me to sweat. I am also doing a system detox program (herbs and fiber) which may contribute...but I was wondering if anyone else finds they are sweating after meals more???? -------------- "Achieving worthwhile goals requires a consistent investment of time and effort on your part....The rewards you receive will be in direct proportion to the consistent effort you put forth." funny question, because I have wondered that myself? I am usually the only person at the gym soaking wet with sweat? I always thought it was because I still smoke (and still trying to quit)But it doesn't bother me I know I have met my goals for the day, nothing feels better than that.:dumbbell::dumbbell:
