Hi
I was wondering what supplements you people use and what kind of results you get with them (and also what they do), because i'm looking to get some. My main aim is to put on some muscle mass. I was also wondering how much protein is in a fried egg or something, because as i'm aware, protein is denatured at a certain temperature and so there would be no useful protein left in them.
At the moment, i'm using whey protein and have started having raw eggs with milk and a teaspoon of sugar (yeah... i know) because i don't think i get enough protein.
Thanks
Peter

I would not do the raw eggs...you run the risk of salmonela poisoning. You can buy ultra pastruerized eggwhites in a carton that you can put directly into drinks. Whey protein is good, you may want to investigate a more multi specied protein though. Eggs are 6 gr. of protein per, eggwhites 3, with 15 calories. Creatine and glutamine are your other big supps. Where are you at in your training now? What else are your goals? Peter, please fill in your profile. May help us to help you more. Thanks...from FT

Ok, i filled my profile out. I want to gain mass quickly mainly, while being in proportion. I don't think i will with what i'm doing at the moment though, even though i think my workout is quite intense. I do loads of barbell curls (standing), bench presses, dumbbell presses, a couple of kickbacks, and tricep extensions. I need more exercises that will keep me in proportion and build my whole upper body with just dumbbells and a barbell.
The lions quality eggs are guaranteed no salmonella aren't they? It says on the package that you get 20g protein in 100g of eggs, and 2 eggs are about 100g, so i had 4 this morning with milk.
Thanks
Peter

As for your question about supplements check out “supplements a summary” the supplements section (near the top of page 2 at the moment) it summarises all my views about each of them. As for your protein denatured question check out and in the Diets and nutrition section a post called “Mac Cheese...high protein!!!” I posted the answer near the bottom of the post. Finally I would take care eating to many whole eggs as the yoke specifically contain lots of fats and cholesterol. As a final piece of advice eat regularly, your body needs protein all the time and can’t store it very well. I eat small meals 5-6 times a day with protein in every serving, It's better than 2 or three large meals.
