If I'm following a general weight loss/toning program as provided by this site... but it doesn't include the option to swim... what's the best way to sub-in or add-in swimming to the weight training routine that I have already been given? I want to be able to get all those reps submitted to my database, but I love swimming and want to do that too, but am slightly afraid of overworking myself if I do it in addition to the training program I was given.

You'd be fine if you swim since you love doing it. It would be even better for you to do so because you'd be burning more calories, and you'd lose weight even faster. If you start feeling week though you might need to eat a little more.

If you are referring to swimming laps, then you should be able to substitute it in place of your cardio (treadmill/bike).
