Would adding some sort of stretching routine like yoga or something to strength training be beneficial? Can stretching provide benefits other that just a warmup? Anyone who's read my posts in "strength without muscle" will know what kind of results I'm after.

Static stretching prior to weightlifting is detrimental to your strength gains. If you must, I would do some basic mobility drills prior to lifting.
PWO stretching has been shown to increase flexibility and strength throughout a ROM.

So can stretching be done after the day's lifting is done? I'd also need some examples of the mobility drills you're talking about.

Yes. After your workout, drink your pwo shake, fill out your Workout log, and stretch.
Just basic dynamic flexibility stuff. I highly recommend Eric Cressey's Magnificent Mobility. I only do a couple of the drills, and only prior to fighting as a warm up, but its good stuff.

If stretching was to be done well before weight training, in the range of 1-3 hours, would it still be detrimental to strength gains? I've also heard that stretching keeps your joints strong and helps prevent injury.

If you really want to stretch PRIOR to lifting, just do some dynamic stretches, no PNF or static stretching prior. If you are concerned with flexibility, then I would recommend static stretching post workout, and PNF stretching on non-training days.
Stretching after a workout will not be detrimental toward your strength gains.

Well tinnuk thanks for asking this question and thanks to wrestler125 for answering it. Me and my wife had been wondering about this and I have actually heard arguments for and and against stretching prior to lifting. I think I will continue to do what I have been doing and that is stretching after the fact.
