I've recently started exersizing, and am 3wks into it, what i do is between 30-40 minutes of stairclimbing and running (outside my house) 6 x per week, this includes aprox 1000 stairs... I also do 20 mins of pilates (dvd) 4x a week, I also do about 20 min of upper body weights 3 x per week (free weights).... I am wanting to loose 10kgs, i have also adjusted my diet... do you think what i am doing is effective? and do you have any suggestions?

Assuming that all you say is true, yes it sounds effective. I might add/modify so that you do lower body freeweights once per week at least.

Biggest thing is your diet though, make sure you keep it in check.
